Peter Stojanovski: Arncliffe man defends charges of filming under girl’s skirt on Wolli Creek train
A man charged with upskirting a teenage schoolgirl on a Sydney train told police on his arrest he was ordering plants online at the time of the incident.

An Arncliffe father has claimed he “didn’t film up no skirt” of a schoolgirl on a train at Wolli Creek, telling a court “false allegations” had been made against him.
Peter Peco Stojanovski, 47, appeared in Sutherland Local Court on Friday for the second day of a hearing after he pleaded not guilty to aggravated filming a person‘s private parts without consent, intentionally record intimate image without consent, and attempting to intentionally record intimate image without consent.
Police allege Stojanovski “upskirted” the girl about 3.45pm on September 2 while on the train, shortly before arriving at Wolli Creek station.
The teenage girl previously gave evidence at the hearing that she was with three other girls, all in their uniforms, returning home after school when Stojanovksi allegedly took a photo under her skirt.
The court heard on Friday one of the girls allegedly saw Stojanovski put his phone under the girl’s skirt.
The girl said she Stojanovski was standing on the lower stairs of the carriage with the alleged victim standing in front of him, with her back towards him.
She told the court she saw a flashlight, clarifying it was a phone torch, and saw him put his phone under the girl’s skirt.
She said Stojanovski then looked closely at his phone’s screen, before he did it again.
The girl said she told the alleged victim: “I think the man behind you is filming under your skirt”. When questioned by Stojanovksi’s lawyer, she conceded she might have said, “be careful I think someone is filming”.
Stojanovksi was confronted by the alleged victim and left the train soon after. The group of schoolgirls called police and made statements at Hurstville police station.
Police body worn footage of Stojanovksi’s arrest was played in court where he immediately denied filming the girls saying, “it is not true” and “I was on bloody Gumtree ordering plants for my house”.
When placed under arrest and told he would be charged Stojanovksi was in disbelief and said the allegations was false and repeated “I didn’t film up no skirt.”
Stojanovksi said he left the train was because he “didn’t want the hassle” and didn’t have a train ticket”.
Another train commuter Matthew gave evidence he was seated near Stojanovksi and saw him extend his arm out once with the phone facing up.
“When he pulled his hand back … I could see a pair of legs on his screen,” he said.
When asked by Stojanovski’s lawyer why he did not include the details of what he saw on the screen in his police statement, he said “I don’t know”.
Magistrate Philip Stewart adjourned the case until September to hand down his decision.
