A MISSING trio who sparked a land and air search have been found safe and well after making their own way back to community.

Benjamin Lee, 40, from Maningrida, Damien Marrkululu, 21, from Milingimbi, and Isaac Ritjili, 21, from Milingimbi were found late yesterday afternoon after having been missing since Wednesday.

A police statement released today said they did not appear to have suffered any injuries.

A large scale aerial and land search with police and local rangers began yesterday after family raised concerns for the trio who were last seen exiting a car at “Dreaming Lady Crossing” halfway between Gunbalanya and Maningrida on Wednesday morning.
