Police, rangers searching for trio thought to be missing in Arnhem Land

POLICE are searching for three men believed to be missing in Arnhem Land.
The men – Benjamin Lee 40, from Maningrida, Damien Marrkululu 21, from Milingimbi and Isaac Ritjili 21, from Milingimbi — were last seen getting out of a car at ‘Dreaming Lady Crossing’, halfway between Gunbalanya and Maningrida.
They have not been seen since 5am Wednesday, October 28.
Two other people the group was travelling with were picked up by Maningrida ambulance and family however none of the trio has since not been found.

A large police search is now under way around the area using air and ground resources, including fixed wing aircraft and motorbikes.
The Bawinanga Rangers are also helping with the search and are out bush tracking the trio.
Police are being assisted by local rangers.
NT Emergency Service is on standby to join in the search.
