2025-26 NTFL live stream: Watch Darwin Buffaloes v Wanderers women in Round 10
The Darwin Buffaloes have pulled off a statement win against one of their major rivals in the hunt for a women’s finals berth. Watch the full match REPLAY.
The Darwin Buffettes achieved a statement result in the hunt for a finals berth seeing off Wanderers in the battle for fifth spot.
Both sides had been locked on three wins with a shot at going into the fifth and what at this stage of the season appears to be the last unclaimed finals spot.
But Buffaloes made their intent clear against a Wanderers outfit that have impressed beyond expectations this season getting the upper hand to the tune of a 14.6 (90) to 1.1 (7) win.
Ebony Abbott-McCormack was a force to be reckoned with in front of goal while Roxy Beuzeville got plenty of the action.
It was through the midfield where the Double Blues dominated with Jacinda Summers and Keanne Hart-Aluni getting involved.
Wanderers weren’t able to get much out of their own stars despite their recent upturn in form with Ashanti Bush and Stephanie Williams, newly in from Waratah, kept quieter than usual.
Machaelia Roberts, another newer addition to Wanderers, was a focus point of the match playing her 200th NTFL match, most of which came for the Buffaloes.
PREVIEW
They are locked together on the ladder but only one of the Darwin Buffaloes and Wanderers look likely to progress and compete with the elite sides in this year’s NTFL finals.
Every moment of the women’s match will be streamed live from 6pm on Friday by The NT News and KommunityTV as part of our season-long NTFL coverage.
WHY TO WATCH
The fitfth-ranked Buffaloes have the percentage advantage as it stands over the sixth-placed Wanderers and did get one over their foes in their early season meeting.
But much has changed since then and the Double Blues will be wise to the fact they can’t let this one slip against the Muk Muks.
Darwin’s Dom Carbone made a big impression with two goals for the side against Palmerston last time out while her VFLW teammates Amelia Peck scored three.
Wanderers have their own scorers with Ashanti Bush and Tedisha Bush both in the top 10 for goals, but they didn’t get much joy last time out.
The PINT scoreline was not reflective of the season they’re having and they would have rather pencilled in this match for an all-out assault than previous.
The Muk Muks won both their previous live streamed matches, can they make it three?
