THREE homes in Alice Springs were broken into overnight, with one homeowner disturbing the offender.
Southern Watch Commander Adrian Kidney said police responded to the first incident at Oleander Crt, Sadadeen, where offenders allegedly stole car keys and a Toyota HiLux.
“The vehicle was located abandoned at Larrapinta Valley camp a short time later. The vehicle was seized and tested for forensics,” he said.

About 10pm police were called to an unlawful entry at Bokara St, Larrapinta.
“(It) Appears offenders have entered through an unsecured door. Located a bag containing vehicle keys, wallet and credit cards,” he said.
A white Toyota Prada with registration CD55WC was allegedly stolen. It remains missing.
Polce were called to a second residence in Larrapinta, where Snr Sgt Kidney said the offender was disturbed by the resident.
“It appears the offender entered through an unsecured door at the rear of the premise,” he said.

“The offender fled the scene on foot and escaped into nearby bushland. Extensive patrols of the immediate area were conducted however the offender remains outstanding.”
