Territorians looking for another tourism voucher bargain will be poised and ready to pounce online when the 15,000 second round vouchers of the popular scheme are up for grabs next Monday.
More than 21,000 round 1 vouchers were redeemed in less than nine hours when they became available and a similar response is being predicted.
More than $9.6 million has been generated for the Territory’s tourism and hospitality industry with most Territorians spending just over $400 per voucher.

The Territory Government is spending an extra $10 million to help the tourism industry get through the wet season with round two and round three extending the tourism voucher scheme out to February 2021.
Those that are successful in getting a round two voucher next Monday will notice a few tweeks in redemption, but also an added bonus kilometre claim option.
Round 2 vouchers must be redeemed within 14 or less days from date of issue. Vouchers will be issued within seven days in a staggered approach from November 4.
Just like round 1, vouchers can be used on multiple tourism experiences, but only if they are booked in the one transaction.
Tourism and Hospitality Minister Natasha Fyles said one of the aims for round 2 is further visitation into the Territory’s regions.
“That’s why we have introduced a bonus claim option that will essentially double the voucher value from $200 to $400 for those that travel out into regions,” Ms Fyles said.
“For example, if someone was to travel from Darwin to a bookable product in Kakadu, then another bookable product in Katherine, they’d be eligible under this criteria, because the team will measure the sequential trip.
“Likewise, if someone was to travel from Alice Springs to Uluru, they’d also be eligible under this criteria, because the sequential trip meets the 400km criteria.”
Just like the first round, upon booking Territorians receive a 50 per cent upfront discount of the total booking value up to a maximum of $200 applied at check-out.
The added bonus kilometre claim will see up to an additional $200 returned to the traveller via reimbursement.

To be eligible for the bonus claim, the booking will need to meet a set criteria including travel of over 400km for one trip.
The 400km criteria will measure a sequential trip, from place of residence (based on address on ID), to each bookable tour or activity, excluding the trip home.
Registration for the $200 voucher commences at 8pm, Monday 2 November at https://territoryvoucher.nt.gov.au/
