The bodyguard of Kings Cross identity John Ibrahim has been charged with drink driving after allegedly leaving a trail of destruction in western Sydney streets.
Police allege Semi ‘Tongan Sam’ Ngata was drunk when he crashed into three parked vehicles in suburban Merrylands before writing off his Jeep 4WD on Tuesday morning.

After losing two wheels, the 61-year-old got out of his vehicle before being arrested by police at a nearby home.
Multiple residents said they heard loud bangs before going outside to see the Jeep loudly driving down the road.
“He was swerving from the roundabout, it was like a bulldozer, or a bobcat running on the street, I said what’s going on here?” one man told Channel 9.
Another said: “it was a really loud rev and I heard a screech and then a big giant bang”.
Police charged Ngata with drink driving, failing to leave his details with another driver and driving in a reckless or dangerous manner.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear in Fairfield Local Court on April 24.
Ngata, who is a loyal employee of Ibrahim’s, was shot in the back last year in Merrylands.
