Barnaby Joyce’s ex-wife Natalie is now a bikini-wearing, medal-winning bodybuilder. The mother to four daughters with the former National’s leader and deputy PM has transformed since her husband left her for his younger ex-staffer Vikki Campion.

Barnaby Joyce’s ex-wife Natalie has become a bikini-wearing bodybuilder, winning two medals in her very first competition.
The mother of Joyce’s four daughters shed 15kg and transformed her body after the former Nationals leader left her for his much younger former staffer Vikki Campion.
Ms Joyce said her daughters “thought I had gone mad when I told them I would be strutting my stuff wearing nothing more than a skimpy bikini, flexing my muscles for all to see”.

But the 49-year-old took fourth-place medals in the First Timers and Miss Fitness Model Momma categories at the I Compete Naturally (ICN) North Coast Classic bodybuilding competition at New Lambton on Sunday.
ICN NSW president Rab Mehajer said: “She has come a long way. She graced the stage remarkably well for a 49-year-old woman taking on women in their 20s.”
Ms Joyce’s Tamworth trainer Kylie Steel congratulated her on social media, exclaiming: “You did me proud girl.”
In an interview with Woman’s Day just before the competition, Ms Joyce said the very public breakdown of her marriage — with her ex-husband now expecting a second son with Ms Campion — had left her “in not a good place”.
“I had two choices: either unravel, or shake myself off and aim to get the best out of myself,” she said.
“In June last year I looked in the mirror and thought ‘I’m not going to let someone else’s appalling behaviour derail me’. So I joined the local gym, and I’ve never looked back. And I’ve always wanted to compete in a bodybuilding comp.”
