Jordan Finlayson pleads guilty to dealing liquid ecstasy and Xanax

A former Cronulla Sharks cheerleader who once appeared on the Seven Network’s Beauty and the Geek has been caught dealing liquid ecstasy and Xanax in Sydney’s south.

A former Cronulla Sharks cheerleader who once appeared on the Seven Network’s Beauty and the Geek has been caught dealing liquid ecstasy and Xanax in Sydney’s south.

Jordan Finlayson, 28, has pleaded guilty to two counts of prohibited drug dealing and one count of drug possession after she was also found with 0.8g of cannabis leaf in Rosebery on November 26.

Finlayson was also found with almost a gram of cannabis.

However, the glamour model will fight numerous charges of mail theft and fraud after police alleged she used a stolen card to buy beauty products at a Chemist Warehouse.

The Rosebery woman supplied 87.7g of gamma-Butyrolactone – or liquid ecstasy – and 23.2g of Alprozolam, commonly known as Xanax, on November 11 last year.

She also admitted to possessing another 7.1g of cannabis and a single Alprozolam tablet in Rosebery on December 18.

Finlayson will face a hearing in July.

Yet Finlayson has pleaded not guilty to one count of dishonestly obtaining property by deception, two counts of possessing identity information to commit an offence, having stolen goods in custody, having stolen goods in her home and possessing a prescribed substance.

Police allege on November 24 Finlayson used the paypass feature on an ANZ debit card stolen from another woman to buy cosmetics, perfume and personal items at Chemist Warehouse in Botany.

Finlayson also denied having five Alprozolam tablets, several pieces of other people’s mail, a stolen driver’s licence and a stolen NSW Competency Card for the purpose of fraud at her Rosebery home on December 18.

Finlayson did not appear at court on Wednesday.

Finlayson was excused from appearing at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday and her solicitor fixed a disputed facts hearing for July 22 at the same court.

Eight police officers will be called as witnesses at the hearing following the separate incidents which resulted in the string of charges.

Finlayson and ex-boyfriend Lachlan Cosgrove from Beauty and the Geek.

Finlayson shot briefly to fame after she appeared on Season 3 of Beauty and the Geek in 2011.

She and “geek” Lachlan Cosgrove from the same series embarked on a relationship after the show concluded but they broke up just 10 months later.

Finlayson was the face of Chiko Rolls in 2013 and 2014 and was also a cheerleader for the Cronulla Sharks, the West Tigers and the Sydney Kings basketball team.

The self-described model, dancer and actress now models for Penthouse magazine and posted a mirror selfie the day she was caught dealing drugs.

“Just do you, whoever that is – find yourself and stay true,” she wrote.

Finlayson now models for Penthouse magazine.

Two weeks later after a brief social media hiatus Finlayson wrote “Just remember when your (sic) doing it tough, someone else is always doing it much tougher”.
