Love Island star Amelia Marni says she was asking to ‘cover up’ on Jetstar flight

A former Love Island contestant has accused Jetstar of “s**t shaming” her over a tiny black crop top she chose to wear on a plane.

An Australian influencer has accused a budget airline of s**t-shaming her for wearing a crop top on a flight to Bali.

Former Love Island contestant Amelia Marni claimed in a series of Instagram posts on Sunday that a male attendant told her to cover up as her top was too revealing.

She posted a short video of herself dancing outside the terminal wearing a black crop and khaki pants before boarding the flight.

A short time later she posted another story complaining that crop tops were her ‘brand’.

“We love a s**t shame moment. A male flight attendant just told me to cover up and my clothing was too revealing. I can’t wear this and it’s inappropriate to wear on Jetstar. NEVER heard of this,” she wrote.

She later posted images of Jetstar’s clothing requirements.

“Please refrain from wearing any clothing or carrying personal items that display words, images, symbols or slogans that may reasonably be deemed offensive,” it said.

The 25-year-old then complained that this was the only thing she could find about what to wear online and wrote we “love a man abusing his authority”.

Jetstar has been contacted for comment.

Ms Marni has been jet setting since international travel reopened. The reality show alum flaunted her figure at Coachella earlier this year.

She opted for an array of racy outfits during the festival including a black mini skirt and crop combo.

She wore the daring outfit with a G-string pulled up high on her hips and a black beaded cowboy hat and knee-high boots.

The night before, Amelia wore a pair of denim shorts with a teeny tiny crop top that flaunted her “underboob”.

Her Instagram page is littered with sizzling photos of herself showing off her enviable figure in bikinis and activewear.
