Five injured in gas explosion at campground in Myponga, SA

Five people have been injured in a gas explosion at a campground in South Australia, with two of them in a serious condition.

Five people have been injured in a horror gas explosion at a popular campground in South Australia.

Emergency services were called to the campground at Myponga, about an hour from Adelaide, just after 4.20pm to reports of a gas bottle explosion.

A man and woman, both 25, were taken by helicopter to hospital with facial burns in a serious condition, a spokeswoman for SA Ambulance said.

Three others were taken by road to hospital, one suffering burns to their back and two with burns to their legs.
