Famous Aldi item makes a comeback

Aldi fans are gearing up for one of the supermarket’s most popular Special Buys of the year – announcing the comeback of a “famous” item.

Aldi fans are ramping up for one of the supermarket’s most popular Special Buys of the year, its camping gear range.

The German retailer dropped the new line just in time for the Easter break with a wide range of outdoor items hitting the middle aisle from Saturday, April 5.

Aldi has brought back its famous hoodie.

The $35 sherpa lined snuggle hoodies come in a pullover or zip-up style.

The six-person tent and famous snuggle hoodie are back at $178 and $35, respectively.

“Aldi’s famous Adult Snuggle Hoodies are back to make camping extra cosy. This year the sherpa lined snuggle hoodies come in a pullover or zip-up style,” Aldi said in a statement.

To help keep things chill, there’s a Portable Fridge Freezer at $329. The 50L fridge has a reversible lid that allows opening on either side, a freezer option, digital display control panel

and a removable basket and transit bag.

Aldi’s camping range includes the comeback of its 6-person tent.

There’s also a $30 collapsible camping tray and Byron Bay camp chairs for $40. It has a built-in insulated cooler with double cup holder and bottle opener.

Outdoor enthusiasts keen to unleash their inner explorer can do so with the Wildlife Camera with Solar Power ($149) and Night Vision Device ($159) “to experience the wilderness like never before”.

“Infra-red technology for observation under night conditions – up to 300m at night and 400m by day,” the Night Vision Device description reads.

It has 4K video resolution, seven infra-red adjustment levels and 8x digital zoom.

Other notable items include the Queen Air Mattress with Built-in Pump ($60), Winter Sleeping Bag ($25), Rechargeable Bug Zapper ($15) and the Solar Mat 200W ($229).
