$20 Kmart travel item shoppers love

Kmart has added another travel item to its range and it’s already gone viral as shoppers rave about how “cheap” and “fabulous” it is.

Kmart shoppers have just discovered what they deem the ultimate travel item – and they’re obsessed.

The Aussie retailer recently added the all-new Hanging Packing Cube to its list of travel products and already customers are raving about the “bargain” item.

“It has become a travel essential for many, thanks to its affordable $20 price tag and practical design,” a Kmart spokesperson told news.com.au.

It allows travellers to pack and carry their clothes in a three-tiered shelving design that’s easy to unfold and hang once you arrive at your destination.

There’s also a zippered bottom compartment for shoes and keepsakes and according to the retailer it keeps clothes “tidy and organised during travel”.

“Travellers love its spacious compartments, which make organising clothes, toiletries, and accessories easy,” the spokesperson said.

“The hanging feature allows it to be conveniently hung in a hotel bathroom or closet, saving space, and keeping everything within reach. It’s a stylish and functional solution that simplifies packing and unpacking.”

Shoppers have already taken to social media to show off the item with Sydney-based TikToker Francisco, who goes by the handle ‘franciscolikes2disco’, clocking half a million views on his viral clip.

“If you are travelling soon, stop what you’re doing and run to Kmart, do no walk,” he demanded.

“This Hanging Packing Cube is probably going to sell out pretty quickly.

“I was able to smash all my clothes into the next six weeks of travel to the Philippines.”

Francisco said he was able to fit the cube inside his 37 litre backpack with ease.

“Using the straps and buckles I was able to get it down literally to nothing,” he added.

Meanwhile, after seeing content of the item online, others were quick to go purchase the item.

“Saw the concept of using these on Instagram and sought out a cheap option to trial,” one person wrote in the review section on the Kmart site.

“Kmart was unsurprisingly cheapest and yet delivers all the features you need. Used it on a recent weekend away.

“Great for simply hanging up on arrival and packing down on departed. Might buy a second for hubby. Well done Kmart.”

Another described it as a “fabulous item” and “simple” to use.

“This is such a simple yet clever packing cube! It is really easy to pack and even easier to unfold and hang in a hotel room!” the customer wrote.

The folded size of the cube is 3cm in height and 45cm in width with its hanging size 64cm in height and 45cm in width.
