They had travel insurance but haven't been able to make a successful claim because it's been ruled a weather event, which is incorrect.

QANTAS moved this couple to an earlier flight for no good reason and without telling them. They lost $6500 of accommodation but the airline and travel insurer wouldn’t compensate.

New deal to deliver more tourists to Tassie

QANTAS and American Airlines have struck a deal to bring more international visitors to the island state, which a senior airline executive said remains an untapped destination in the global market.

FERRIES have resumed regular services across Sydney and flights out of the city were delayed or cancelled as a thick blanket of fog essentially wiped Sydney off the mpa this morning.
