It was a stunning ride with Twilight Payment leading all the way down the straight and for much of the race to take out the 2020 Melbourne Cup.

While the race has delivered in spade, but there was plenty of action to keep you entertained on Melbourne Cup day before and after the race that stops the nation.

Today’s first race was the Darley Maribyrnong Plate at 10.45am, and the 10th and final event is the Mss Security Sprint at 5.15pm.

No Restriction caused a massive upset in the World Horse Racing Desirable Stakes, storming home from nowhere to cross the line first despite starting as a rank $34.50 outsider.
