Erin Phillips cut by WNBA club

Confirmed: AFLW to expand in 2019

THE AFL has confirmed the AFL Women’s will expand in 2019. The league will remain an eight-team competition in 2018 with successful teams notified mid-year.

Brennan hoping for longer AFLW season

AFLW star Katie Brennan hopes the competition will soon be longer than the two months of the first season and says players are putting in double the nine-hour training hours outlined in the pay deal.
