Helping hand for battling farmers

Two young busking brothers saddened by the devastating plight of SA farmers used their enterprising talents to raise $9500 towards a $150,000 Qantas and Rural Aid bale drop-off for starving livestock.

Police searching an unlicensed driver’s car have also turned up 1.3kg of methamphetamine, guns and a large amount of cash. Meanwhile, four teenagers have been arrested over the alleged knifepoint robbery of a man in the CBD.

Police have arrested a man and charged him with three counts of endangering life after fishing line was found strung up across a path and driveway in the southern suburbs.

Premier’s $12k bill for chauffeur car rides

More than $18,000 was spent by Premier Steven Marshall and Innovation and Skills Minister David Pisoni on luxury chauffeured vehicles during a 10-day trip to the United States, it’s been revealed.

All metropolitan hospital emergency departments were treating more people than their capacity on Sunday, with waiting times exceeding two hours in the northern suburbs.
