Nadia Bartel praised for bikini photo baring stretch marks

Nadia Bartel has left fans in awe after sharing a photo from the beach pointing out something many say she shouldn’t have to.

Nadia Bartel has shared a bikini photo with an empowering message – and her fans are loving it.

The former WAG enjoyed the Melbourne sunshine on the weekend with a trip to the beach with her new man, Nathan Brodie, and a few margaritas.

To mark the occasion, the 35-year-old shared a snap of herself lapping up the summer weather in a snake-print bikini and a cream hat.

While the mum-of-two – who shares sons Aston and Henley with ex-husband Jimmy Bartel – looked incredible, she decided to address her stretch marks in the photo before followers “point it out”.

“Yes (before you point it out) I have stretch marks on my thighs and bum and #thisisme,” she wrote.

“I have these ones since I was 14 and got hips, embrace the changes your body goes though and love yourself through it all.”

Her post clearly resonated with many who thanked Nadia for sharing the “real” photo as others asked “who would ever point that out?”

“Show me one adult body that doesn’t have a few magical silver snail trails of mystery! Seriously... If anyone ever does again, please send them my way. You look happy, that’s what I noticed,” comedian Em Rusciano wrote.

“You look incredible thank you for just being you, setting a beautiful example to many girls out there that it’s ok to just ....... BE YOU,” another said.

While one wrote: “Thanks for being real.”

“Stunning!! Love how your real!!!” another agreed.

“I have no idea why anyone would need to point that out. If I looked half as amazing as you, I’d be very happy,” someone else mused.

Yesterday, Nadia went public with her new man after enduring a very messy and very public split with her Brownlow medallist ex last year.

Nathan shared an Instagram Stories post of the pair kicking back at St Kilda beach on Friday, Nadia rocking the $120 swimmers from Ark Swimwear, with the caption “Weekend vibes”.

His post marks the first public acknowledgment of a romance between the pair, after rumours of a relationship have plagued the couple for months.

Jimmy Bartel has also moved on, quickly going public with current partner Lauren Mand soon after the split.

Nadia had been notoriously private about the current status of her love life – until now.

She and personal trainer Brodie have been linked since August, although it wasn’t until September that they were first photographed together working up a sweat, doing a lap of Albert Park lake together.

Despite moving on in love and in life, the influencer and fashionista recently admitted she had no intention of reverting back to her maiden name after divorce proceedings are finalised.

“Right now, I want to have the same name as the boys. I can’t imagine having another surname,” Nadia told the Herald Sun.

“If I didn’t have children it would be a different story. I don’t know what I might do in the future.”

Bartel married Jimmy in 2014 after six years of dating and share sons Aston, 4, and Henley, 2.

The 35-year-old said she was “heartbroken” when her marriage to Bartel broke down last year, amid rumours about what caused their split.

“Although I’m heartbroken, I don’t want to comment specifically on what’s been reported about Jim’s trip to the UK as I don’t think that is in anyone’s interests,” Nadia told News Corp Australia in August last year.
