In a candid interview, Nadia Bartel has spoken of juggling work and motherhood commitments after splitting from her AFL star husband Jimmy.

Nadia Bartel has opened up about juggling work and motherhood commitments after splitting from her AFL star husband Jimmy.

In an appearance on The Morning Show Nadia praised her loved ones for supporting her, with news of her split with husband Jimmy was made public last month.

“Yeah, it’s so hectic. I’m juggling it all but I’m so lucky I’ve got such a supportive family and friends around me,” she told hosts Ryan Phelan and Kylie Gillies.

“So mum and dad and my sister and brother and then their wife and husband do a lot for the boys. It’s been a bit of a juggle but we’ll get there in the end.”

The 34-year-old walked the red carpet solo at the Brownlow Meda on Monday for the first time in almost a decade.

Nadia hosted Channel 7’s coverage of the Brownlow and looked absolutely stunning while doing it, wearing a blue J’Aton Couture dress.

It was the ultimate revenge look and didn’t go missed by her supporters, who praised Nadia for her “incredible” outfit and poise.

Nadia’s sister Michelle Ring was also in her sibling’s corner, reposting a photo of her look on Instagram with a caption that took a very pointed swipe at Jimmy.

“#NadiaBartel on her way to Jimmy Bartel’s funeral, aka the #BrownlowAwards!” the caption read. “Now THIS is how you do a revenge body!”

Last month, Nadia confirmed she and Jimmy had ended their marriage after five years.

“It’s been a very difficult month for me and the boys. Although I’m heartbroken, I don’t want to comment specifically on what’s been reported about Jim’s trip to the UK as I don’t think that is in anyone’s interests,” she told the Herald Sun in a statement.

“My single focus now is to continue to protect, care and provide for my two beautiful boys as this is a personal matter.”

For a number of years they were one of the AFL’s ultimate glamour couples, gracing a string of red carpets together after meeting at the 2008 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and getting engaged in 2012 on a private beach in Mexico.

The couple sparked break-up rumours a week before confirming their split after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. They were also spotted without their wedding rings.

Despite welcoming their second child Henley in October last year, the pair haven’t been pictured together on social media since June when Nadia posted a picture of them at a wedding.

Since announcing their split Jimmy has been linked to Lauren Mand, with the two photographed drinking beers in Sydney together late last month.
