Olena, Nikki and Alex reveal their fitness and diet secrets
THESE gorgeous girls have been vying for Richie Strahan’s heart on The Bachelor. But outside the love battle, how do they keep so fit and healthy?
THEY are the gorgeous girls who have spent the past few months vying for Richie Strahan’s heart on Australia’s The Bachelor.
The blonde bombshells and their enviable figures have graced our screens for the past couple of months, but tonight — it will all come to an end when the winner is revealed.
On Wednesday, Olena didn’t receive a rose from Richie, leaving Nikki and Alex in fierce contention.
But outside the romantic battle, we’ve all been a little distracted by how babe’n the contestants on this year’s Bachelor have been.
From bikini dates to chocolate baths — how have Olena, Nikki and Alex stayed in shape both on and off the camera? News.com.au asked the girls to spill their diet and fitness routines.
OLENA KHAMULA:
We’ve all seen the recent snaps of Olena frolicking on the beach with tennis pro Nick Lindahl looking incredible in a one piece swimsuit. She looked phenomenal, a body we were sure was a result of hours in the gym. But Olena says that’s not the case at all.
“I go for runs sometimes, but mainly I take my mum down for an 8km walk whenever I have time, so about four times a week,” she said.
“I don’t really have a particular diet. I kind of eat whatever I want,” she laughed.
“I’m not going to lie about that. But yeah, I do train pretty hard.”
The stunning 23-year-old, who is a Sydney-based make-up artist, gave us an insight into her daily product regime, and how she uses her skills to achieve such a flawless face.
“The one think I don’t like is baking your makeup,” she revealed.
“While it looks good on camera, it’s definitely more photograph makeup [and not every day].
“So I will totally do that for photographs, but I would never do it if I’m going out or catching up with friends. That’s my little one thing I don’t do.”
NIKKI GROGAN:
WA girl Nikki, who received the first kiss off Richie during the Bachelor season, says while she doesn’t stick to a strict diet — she does need to be careful of what she eats and drinks.
“I definitely don’t have a strict diet, I’m definitely not one of those people,” she laughed.
“Alex and Olena are one of those people who eat whatever, but I really have to workout.
“I eat chocolate every single day, and if I’m going out I’m always like ‘you deserve it Nikki’.”
Nikki said her biggest trick is to not over indulge in the booze — especially when she’s just having a night in.
“I’m only a social drinker so I don’t hang out at home and drink alone,” she said.
“That’s probably the biggest thing where I have made a change in my diet. No fizzy drinks or anything like that.”
The 29-year-old real estate agent admitted that while in The Bachelor house, she did start doing a bit of running — an exercise she’d never done much of before.
“I’m not really a runner,” she said.
“I have a personal trainer when I am home in WA who I have had for a couple of years. We work out three to four times a week with her, and I also like to walk my dog.
“But when I was in The Bachelor house I started running, but that’s kind of stopped since I got home,” she joked.
ALEX NATION:
We know her as the stunning 25-year-old mother of Elijah, Alex Nation. And the blonde beauty quickly caught the eye of Richie early on in the season, when he gave her the white rose at the first ceremony.
While we all know Alex likes a bit of chocolate, the part-time model has a few tricks up her sleeve to keep her body in tiptop shape
“I love to run and I do pilates,” she admitted.
“I’m not big on diets, and I just can’t deny myself chocolate and fries! Everything is fine in moderation.
When it comes to keeping her complexion clear, the blonde beauty says she swears by one brand of serum and moisturiser.
“Ultraceuticals serum and moisturiser,” she said.
“My skin can be a pain sometimes and these products always keep it in check!”
The Bachelor finale airs tonight at 7.30pm AEST on Channel Ten.
