Bella Valeris calls The Bachelor Locky Gilbert a ‘frog’ after brutal dumping

Bachelor star Bella got dumped on national television last night - and headed straight to Instagram to vent about the experience.

Bachelor fans watched in horror last night as Bella Valeris got dumped by Locky Gilbert, after he’d professed his love for her the day before.

While he and winner Irena Srbinovska are basking in the love and support of their new relationship, Bella penned a lengthy post on Instagram after the brutal break-up aired. And she did not hold back.

“When Locky told me he loved me and couldn’t wait to make me happy for the rest of my life, I believed him and trusted him whole heartedly,” she wrote.

“We connected on so many levels right from the beginning, some you saw, but most you didn’t. Having three months outside of filming completely changed the aspect of the show, it brought normality to the connection and we grew into what felt like a real relationship.

“Looking back; I’m proud of myself. I gave it my all, I was true to myself and I wore my heart on my sleeve. Whilst it’s not my fairytale ending, the laughs and the memories will last a lifetime. I want to say thank you to my on-set Bachelor family who were with me up until the very end, thank you for making me laugh through my endless tears that night.

“I’m a firm believer that things happen for a reason and now was not my time, I’ll never stop being a hopeless romantic and I’m sure my happily ever after is still out there. Hopefully I don’t need to kiss too many more frogs,” she concluded.

Bella got dumped in a brutal way but called Locky a frog.

Bella’s heart-on-sleeve Instagram post came after a painful finale that saw Locky burst into tears before he broke the news to her.

“I fell in love with you the first day I saw you, and I saw those big brown eyes,” he said in his final speech.

“Like, they just make me go crazy. And, like, when I told you I love you, like, I meant every single word.

“I know you don’t, like, sort of see where your future is at the moment. I think I need just a little bit of certainty.”

After hearing that, Bella was in disbelief.

“I just don’t know if I can see us working,” he added.

“I just don’t get it. Yesterday, you told me you were in love with me,” she said, dumbfounded.

When he urged that he was in love with her, Bella added: “Well, why not follow through with a relationship, then?”

He replied: “Because I asked you in the pool – what do you see our next year looking like? And you were so... I needed a little bit more.”

Furious, she responded, “You can’t turn this around on me,” before stating, “My God... Can I leave? I’m going,” and stormed off.

On the way home, Bella too burst into tears.

“He doesn’t love me. If he loved me, he’d wanna be with me.

“Who does that to someone who tells them they’re in love with them and then...?

“I just wanna get outta here.”

After the show aired, both Locky and Irena confirmed that they are still together, and extremely in love.
