Ronnie and Georgia call-out ‘biggest cheating scandal in TV history’ on The Block

An explosive cheating scandal has kicked off on The Block, leaving one team absolutely fuming as wild accusations are hurled.

The Block’s resident troublemakers have landed themselves in hot water again.

Former Love Island twins Josh and Luke have become embroiled in the “biggest cheating scandal in TV history” after fellow contestant Ronnie hurled out the accusation in the final seconds of Sunday’s episode.

It comes after weeks of the boys bending rules in the Block Bible – including using their tradies to paint, leaving the site for a night of alleged partying, and this week, having Luke’s fiance drop by to help style their master bedroom and wardrobe.

Ronnie and Georgia were seething after losing out to Josh and Luke.

The feminine touch clearly helped, with the brothers scooping up the win for week three, gaining praise for their walk-in robe design and the risky move of building on the designated garage space despite objection from The Block’s architect.

But fuming fourth-placers Georgia and Ronnie were quick to call them out for alleged cheating — and not just for the styling assistance.

“I guess it helps to cheat,” fumed returning favourite Ronnie in a post-judging interview.

He and Georgia had presented a stunning master bedroom with lofty ceilings and impeccable finishes — a room Neill Whittaker dubbed “the best room in Block history”. But their walk-in robe wasn’t up to scratch, losing them points and sending them down to fourth place.

Being beaten by rookies Luke and Josh was a bitter pill to swallow for the pair, and they struggled to hide their disappointment.

The twins have already been at the centre of a few controversies this season.

According to Ronnie, however, the boys had a secret advantage all along — one that may have contributed to their haste in rushing plans through council for their garage-bedroom switch-up approval.

“It’s amazing that you know exactly the full schedule of what rooms are coming up, they know when the challenge days are coming up … so I guess it helps to cheat. That’s great, beautiful,” Ronnie said sarcastically as Georgia begged, “Don’t go there.”

His comment prompted the producer to ask: “Do you think they’ve found out some way?”

“They’ve known from day one,” Ronnie responded.

“So you really think they boys have found out?,” the producer pressed.

“Mate, I don’t f**ing really think, I know for a fact,” the furious reality star shot back.

While no more details were revealed on Sunday night’s episode, the scandal looks set to explode this week with Ronnie calling it the “biggest cheating scandal in TV history” in the promo for Monday night.

It also reveals wild confrontation scenes featuring Mitch and Mark and Luke and Josh exchanging ferocious barbs on-site.

Tempers are set to erupt this week on The Block …

… With Josh and Mitch locked in a vicious war of words.

“You disgusting ignorant young piece of filth,” Mitch is seen yelling in the promo.

“Rude, rich, snob,” Josh fires back.

The name-calling looks all too much for Vito, who is later seen asking “Are we human beings or are we animals?”

Oh, the drama.

The Block continues Monday night on Channel 9 from 7.30
