Are Domenica Calarco and Jack Millar back together after MAFS reunion?

In the wash up of this year’s chaotic MAFS season, fans are still wondering exactly what happened between favourites Dom and Jack. Here’s what we know.

On-off MAFS couple Jack Millar and Domenica Calarco have revealed they still speak every day despite their relationship ending almost five months ago.

The pair shocked viewers and fellow cast members with the news they’d split during the two-night reunion special this week, with many believing they’d since rekindled their romance given they’ve been conducting media appearances together since the episodes were filmed in December.

Dom and Jack have also seen looking loved up on social media and in event photos over the past few weeks, further puzzling fans.

According to Jack during an interview with Hit WA presenters Allan & Carly, the pair “aren’t in a relationship”, but fellow contestant Ella Ding, who also appeared on the Hit WA breakfast show today, said there’s still hope.

“There is absolutely no denying that they love each other in so many ways,” Ella said on air this morning, revealing they were “kissing and cuddling” during Dom’s reunion special viewing party on Sunday.

“I think that they’re soulmates, I genuinely do. They do still have this spark, they’re kissing when the camera’s not around, they fall back into Jack and Dom when they're together.

“They still catch up on a weekly basis, they do still talk on a daily basis. It’s something that’s open now that the pressure’s off,” Ella said.

In a separate interview, Jack repeated to the radio host that he “has nothing but love” for Dom.

“I don’t have words for it,” he said. “We have such a strong connection and bond which has been so beautiful and so phenomenal … we really did try to make that relationship work, at the end of the day we’ve ended up with this connection that cannot be described with words.”

He went on to say he’s even spent the past few nights with his ex while they took in the final MAFS episodes together.

“It’s bittersweet that it’s come to an end but we have such a strong love for each other,” he said to the confused hosts, who had asked several times why they couldn’t get back together.

The interview came after Dom pulled out of her media commitments today.

During last night’s reunion ceremony, Dom and Jack had different answers for the experts when asked why they called it quits.

While Dom credited Jack’s flaky communication, Jack said it was Dom’s uncertainty about the future that gave him pause and ultimately led to their demise.

“After Final Vows, I don’t think we were in the strongest place, but we vowed to each other we would try,” Dom said.

“I really feel as though I reached out to Jack and tried to keep communication … but for me I feel it wasn’t reciprocated as much as I would have liked, which is a little bit disappointing.”

While Jack admitted he “didn’t reach out as much”, he added in his defence that he wasn’t confident Dom was in it for the long haul.

“I think I had a lot of time to reflect on the last tail end of the experiment, we did get to a point, you were still uncertain about how you felt,” he said.

“For me that lack of certainty pushed down my desire to continue.”

When pressed by experts Mel Schilling and Alessandra Rampolla – who said they could still see strong chemistry between the pair – about whether they’d consider reconciling, Dom said “never say never”.

“It’s an open-ended thing, who knows what the future may hold for us,” she added.
