Abbie Chatfield’s surprise relationship revelation

Just a few days after Aussie stars Abbie Chatfield and Tony Armstrong appeared at an event side-by-side, it appears they’re actually ex-lovers.

Just a few days after Aussie media stars Abbie Chatfield and Tony Armstrong co-hosted a major event side-by-side, rumours have emerged that they’re ex-lovers.

A few awkward exchanges may have taken place at the TikTok awards in Sydney on Wednesday night because, according to The Daily Telegraph’s Sunday Confidential, the pair once had a fling.

Ms Chatfield, 28, and Mr Armstrong, 34, spent a night together after the Logies last year and tried to make a go of it but the romance quickly fizzled, the publication reported.

Numerous sources cited by Confidential claimed the pair hit it off at the 2022 event on the Gold Coast and briefly attempted a relationship, but it didn’t work out.

Former AFL player Mr Armstrong has since moved on with musician Rona Glynn-McDonald, while Ms Chatfield’s relationship status is unknown.

Last year, she shared frequent public updates about her non-monogamous relationship with fellow reality TV star Konrad Bien-Stephen, but the pair are believed to have split in August 2022.

In May this year, Ms Chatfield revealed she was in an exclusive relationship with a new mystery man.

Speaking to the audience at her Trauma Dump Tour in Adelaide, Chatfield didn’t reveal the identity of her new partner, saying the relationship was still in its very early stages.

“It’s been six days!” she said.

When asked about his chemistry with Chatfield on the red carpet on Wednesday night, Armstrong said: “Abbie’s brilliant. I think she’s super smart.”

Chatfield didn’t respond to Confidential’s request for comment.
