No-one outside of my close group will remember the great eyebrow massacre of 2024, but I’ll never forget it.
One afternoon I ducked out from work to run a few errands and noticed my usual brow place was empty (unheard of), I was long overdue a tidy up and, even though my usual brow lady wasn’t there I thought it’d be fine.

And I didn’t notice I now had two different brow shapes until I got into my car and looked into the world’s most brutal mirror.
When I went back to get them evened up – three days later – my regular brow lady gasped when she saw me.
As for lashes, mine are stumps and I’ve had some success with eyelash perms, tinting plus trying out every mascara under the sun (a very expensive experiment) but, as I don’t have any motivation for regular, longer beauty appointments, I hadn’t really nailed down a solution.
Thankfully, I work with shopping and beauty experts who inspired me to go DIY with a tailored beauty product and help me ~ actually ~ get this sorted.

In this review, I’ll share my honest thoughts on whether BodyBlendz Lash & Brow Oil works, how easy it was to use and whether it’s worth trying.
HOW WE TESTED BODYBLENDZ LASH & BROW OIL
I followed the instructions for how to use this lash and brow oil to the letter – I applied it directly from the bottle onto my clean, dry lashes and brows twice a day.
In the morning, I waited at least two minutes before applying make-up – I’d usually apply during my lavish four, sometimes five-step skin care routine (cleanse, toning mist, serum, moisturiser and sometimes a face oil if I remember, since you asked) then make myself a coffee or similar to make sure I waited enough time.
It was super easy to apply, lightweight, it didn’t run and it dried quickly.
I used the oil for six weeks. I saw noticeable results in three.
HOW DOES BODYBLENDZ LASH & BROW OIL WORK?
It’s the solution to stumpy eyelashes and a brow massacre.
I mean, that’s my experience of it. Officially, it’s a vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-freeoilthat BodyBlendz’s blurb says “restores and conditions uneven eyebrows and sparse eyelash lines”.
It’s formulated with blue cypress oil, sunflower oil, naturally-derived panthenol (a form of vitamin B5), aloe vera, and rose floral water. I have pretty sensitive eyes, but didn’t experience any irritation with this.
It also contains green coffee seed extract, said to stimulate hair follicles, triggering stronger growth in your lashes and brows, while also strengthening the hair from within as well as making it softer and shinier.
It also contains “nano lashes (10%)” which I had never heard of before but the BodyBlendz site says it “assists to reduce the loss of eyebrows and eyelashes”, so more power to it.
A big highlight of this lash and brow oil for me was the rollerball format. So easy to use! Also loved the compact size, which is reminiscent of travel-sized perfumes. It seems tailor-made for those of us who are time poor/motivated by ease.
BODYBLENDZ LASH & BROW OIL: MY BROW LADY’S VERDICT
Since my uneven eyebrow incident and using BodyBlendz Lash & Brow Oil, I’ve had two appointments with Neha at Exquisite Brows and Lashes in Sydney.
According to her my eyebrows have grown back in at an impressive speed, she said it usually takes up to a year to grow a full, thick brow back in.
“I’m very impressed with the regrowth,” she said. “The hair is thick, glossy and it’s come in fast, especially around the starting point of the brow (the thickest part before the arch), which usually takes the longest to grow back in.”
“The hair also seems to be shedding at a much slower rate than usual,” she added.
