Full disclosure, my Greek hairy genes blessed me with super long lashes. So when it comes to a mascara, I look for something that doesn’t so much lengthen, but rather lifts and makes them look super curled and thick with volume.
The brush on this mascara manages to catch every lash – even the ones in the inner corner that just don’t want to be curled.

I have always been a fan on Nude by Nature – especially their foundation and concealers. I had high hopes for their Absolute Volumising Mascara, and it did not disappoint.
What I love most about the mascara and the brand as a whole is how it is made. This mascara uses natural minerals and oils like poppy seed oil, Kakadu plum and antioxidant rich quandong.
It is available in black or brown to suit your style, but I went with the latter to add some extra oomph to my long lashes. It went on smoothly without being clunky or leaving any specks. It did take a little bit to dry, but once it was set, I was good to go for the whole day.

Applying two mascaras did cause a fair bit of smudging under and above my eyes but after a quick clean up I was impressed by the results.
Sure, it didn’t look like I had false eyelashes on, but my eyelashes did look more curled and lifted than usual. It’s probably a bit too heavy for me to wear on an everyday basis but I’d definitely do this again for a night out.

“With a tubing mascara, the best way to remove it is to simply apply warm water and little gentle pressure to the lashes, which will easily slide the tubes of mascara of your eyelashes – no smearing down your face at all,” Shelley said.
