Last week … four winners. Supercoach Racing guru Chris Vernuccio is in red-hot form and added another picket to the fence with Dalasan ($2.70). He’s chasing five in a row this weekend. Nathan Exelby was spot on with Veranes ($4.40), while Nick Quinn bounced back with Arcadia Queen ($1.95). Michael Manley snagged the longest-priced winner with his value bet Spanish Whisper ($7.50).

ROYAL RANDWICK
RAY THOMAS (Daily Telegraph). Form: 16823
SUPERNOVA (Race 8, No. 18 — $4.60)
Is a promising former English stayer who ran a blinder first-up when a fast finishing second to Gaulois in the Listed Rowley Mile. The Team Hawkes-trained Supernova steps out to a more suitable 2000m for the Kingston Town Stakes and it is worth noting he did win very impressively second-up on a heavy track over 1900m last autumn.
Value bet: LISDOONVARNA (Race 2, Race 6 — $8.50)
MATT JONES (Daily Telegraph). Form: 03524
AVILIUS (Race 7, No. 2 — $3.20)
The wet track is a real advantage for him and I can see him turning the tables on Samadoubt now at a track and distance that suits.
Value bet: LISDOONVARNA (Race 2, No. 6 — 8.50)
SHAYNE O’CASS (Sportsman). Form: 3110s
PIERATA (Race 6, No. 3 — $4)
The ‘run of the race’ behind Redze in the Concorde. Just the times, the leader bias, etc etc, it was a massive run by Greg Hickman’s fellow.
Value: MAURUS (Race 8, No. 14 — $34)
DARREN PRENDERGAST (NewsRacing). Form: 16s27
AVILIUS (Race 7, No. 2 — $3.20)
Ready to fire his first shot of the spring third-up on suitable wet track.
Value: GIRL TUESDAY (Race 8, No. 16 — $7.50)

CAULFIELD
MICHAEL MANLEY (Herald Sun). Form: 1s512
PIPPIE (Race 5, No. 1 — $2)
She has dominated from start to finish to win her three runs this time in the last two at Caulfield. No reason why she can’t win again.
Best value: THE LIFELINE (Race 2, No. 2 — $5)
GLENN McFARLANE (Herald Sun). Form: 1s8x2
BEGOOD TOYA MOTHER (Race 7, No. 14 — $2.90)
Talented horse who drops seven kilos from his super run in the Memsie and could dictate the terms of this race.
Value bet: PIERATA (Rand Race 6, No. 3 — $4.60)
SIMON MOY (NewsRacing). Form: 1x182
BEGOOD TOYA MOTHER (Race 7, No. 3 — $2.90)
Went too hard last start but should be able to dictate terms without using too much petrol from inside gate. With the weight 7kg swing, looks a hot prospect.
Value bet: SHOKORO (Race 4, No. 5 — $16)
NICK QUINN (TAB). Form: 11821
PIPPIE (Race 5, No. 4 — $2)
Totally airborne this campaign having won all three starts impressively.
Looks well placed to carry on her winning ways and a class above her rivals.
Value bet: WOLFE (Race 6, No. 14 — $5.50)
CHRIS VERNUCCIO (NewsRacing). Form: 1s111
HAUT BRION HER (Race 4, No. 3 — $2.50)
She raced on the wrong leg at the Valley last start. Still has a lot to learn and performing on raw ablility. A winner at 1400m.
Value bet: SIKABDARABAD (Race 6, No. 5 — $5.50)
MARKETS: TAB FIXED ODDS
EAGLE FARM
NATHAN EXELBY (The Courier-Mail). Form: 38211
ENTERPRISE PRINCE (Race 7, No. 3 — $3.40)
Should have finished closer last week when held up for a run and making good ground when finally clear. The winner there Langhro is headed to Open company and the runner-up Auerbach is already proven at that level, so this looks a big cog back on what he took on last week. The only query is the 7-day back-up, but if he copes, he can be too good for these.
Value bet: TATCEE (Race 4, No. 9 — $9)
MARKETS: TAB FIXED ODDS
MORPHETTVILLE
LINCOLN MOORE (The Advertiser). Form: 41113
CHAROSSA (Race 5, No. 6 — $3)
Has been racing in great form with consecutive Melbourne wins before he struggled around Balaklava. Back out to 1800m and drawn the inside which should have him in the firing line throughout. Already well tried and sure to take some beating.
Value bet: SCHILLDORA (Race 7, No. 15 — $8.50)
