Putting the squeeze on Victoria’s movers, shakers and headline makers
A Melbourne high society link has emerged in the Sydney socialite luxury car fracas.
Vanessa Jacobs Fennell was allegedly drunk when she crashed her luxe Range Rover into a parked Tesla before assaulting a police officer.
The sorry saga has got many ritzy tongues wagging in eastern Sydney as a dishevelled Fennell, 54, was charged with refusing to submit to a breath analysis, assault of a police officer in the execution of duty and refusing to provide details to the owner of property.
She has been released on bail and will return to Waverley court on April 1.
It’s come to light that the philanthropist ex-wife of private equity investor Tom Fennell, was reeling after a recent break-up from prominent Melbourne businessman Nathan Sable.
Sable is the ex-husband of Dahlia Fried, of the Spotlight and Anaconda rich-lister Fried family.
Their messy separation has also been fodder for the Toorak set. Dahlia is now in a relationship with LSN Capital Partners’ Nick Sladen.
