A man has fallen 20m down a cliff at a popular waterfall in the Yarra Valley.
The mishap occurred at Steavenson Falls in Marysville about 3.30pm on Christmas Day.
A CFA spokesman said the man, aged in his mid 20s, required rescuing but fortunately had survived the tumble without serious injury.

The CFA high angle rope rescue team was brought in to reach him.
A CFA spokesman said the man’s friends had been able to climb down to wait with him for help to arrive.
The Steavenson Falls tourist attraction is one of Victoria’s highest waterfalls that drops 84 metres into the Steavenson River valley.
