Despised Porsche driver Richard Pusey is believed to be behind a disturbing anti-police social media account that has attracted widespread condemnation.

The Instagram account uses the handle ‘The Richard Pusey Show’ and refers to himself as the “perfect person for the resulting blame game” linked to “police corruption” and “ineptitude over safety”.

It features distressing posts including an image of his mangled Porsche with the caption: “You don’t need one of these to bend a cop”.

The account also includes a picture of one of the Highway Patrol vehicles destroyed in the horrific Eastern Freeway crash which claimed the lives of constable Glen Humphris, senior constable Kevin King, leading senior constable Lynette Taylor and constable Joshua Prestney on April 22 last year.

The account includes an image of a man wearing a t-shirt featuring the term ‘menticide’.

The post appears to criticise the response of officers prior to the crash.

Pusey had been pulled over for speeding before drugged-up truck driver Mohinder Singh veered from the freeway and killed all four officers standing in the emergency lane.

“As I understand it, I believe the police were about to place me into that car. If that was to be the case then the car depicted herein would’ve been my coffin,” the post read.

“So many flawed procedures. Those four officers were just sent to their deaths.”

Former Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Kel Glare told the Herald Sun the posts were vile and have deeply disturbed the families of the fallen officers.

“It’s absolutely disgusting. I don’t know how he can get away with these sorts of things. The man needs help there’s no doubt about that,” he said.

“The pain he is causing relatives of the (Eastern Freeway) victims is beyond anything that is acceptable. Something needs to be done to muzzle him.”

Instagram users have also taken aim at the account, labelling Pusey a “flog” and “whack job”.

The same handle has been used to establish a Tiktok and Twitter account and give fresh insight into Pusey’s state of mind, including his anger at being refused a refund for his totalled Porsche.

“These guys don’t pay out,” read a post about Prestige Motors.

Earlier this month Pusey, 43, was freed on bail but prohibited from returning to his suburb of Fitzroy over allegations he terrorised his neighbours by smearing cat litter and faeces around their home.

A video depicts loud music being played in the dark with the caption: “This activity is now treated as illegal by local police”.

The account also includes an image of a man wearing a t-shirt featuring the term ‘menticide’ which is described as the systematic effort to undermine and destroy a person’s values and beliefs.

A separate post ranting about his eviction from Fitzroy refers to the “Bureaucractic Department of Anti-Pusey” while another features a photo of him walking free from jail with the words: “I have discovered the place where violence cries”.

Pusey will next appear at the Neighbourhood Justice Centre on stalking charged on March 9, 2022.
