The Porsche driver involved in the Eastern Freeway tragedy has caused a fresh suburban disturbance, infuriating neighbours just weeks after he walked free from jail.
Neighbours of millionaire former mortgage broker Richard Pusey called triple-0 on Wednesday about 7.50pm following yelling and loud music blasting from his Fitzroy warehouse conversion.
Pusey’s frustrated neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of repercussions, said he heard “really loud shouting and banging” on Wednesday night.
“He had music blasting, as well,” the St David Street resident said.
“As soon as I heard all of the noise I knew it was him. He’s always looking to cause a scene. There’s no decency whatsoever – he simply doesn’t care.”
Victoria Police confirmed officers were called to a commotion. “Police were called to a residential warehouse property following reports of yelling and loud music,” Leading Senior Constable Natalie Dean said. “Police have spoken to an occupant.”
It is not the first time Pusey has exhibited anti-social behaviour at the $3.4m property he shares with his wife. He was arrested on his roof on December 28 last year after a dramatic standoff with heavily armed police following reports of a domestic disturbance.
Pusey, 43, became notorious for filming the Eastern freeway crash scene where four police officers were killed on April 22 last year.
He was found guilty of speeding offences, outraging public decency, reckless conduct endangering serious injury and possessing drugs of dependence.
Pusey walked free from Ravenhall prison on August 25 after promising good behaviour for two years as a magistrate blasted his “repugnant” criminal behaviour.
On that day, he wore a black face mask emblazoned with the words “fake news” as well as a shirt which read “Get me Oprah”.
Pusey drew criticism for comments made that afternoon. He told reporters he wanted a royal commission into the freeway crash.
Last month he blasted a magistrate, saying he would “get better justice in Belarus” during a video hearing at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
