Drugs, guns, bullet-proof vests, a police uniform and gelignite have been seized in a Melbourne raid by clandestine laboratory squad detectives.
A 27-year-old man from Cranbourne is facing dozens of charges over the extraordinary haul confiscated during property searches yesterday.
They found precursor chemicals, LSD and MDMA after executing warrants at a number of scenes in the southeast.
Investigators also turned up a trafficable number of handguns, 35 sets of body armour and a police uniform.
The man has also been charged with storing gelignite without approval and possessing a TASER.
He is expected to face court today charged with firearms matters, offences relating to the body armour and uniform and drug counts.
It is a crime to possess body armour without an exemption.
Among the guns seized were unregistered handguns and longarms.
Forensic examiners are continuing to analyse a number of sites.
