Police are probing an attack in Richmond after a man was found with stab wounds outside the safe injecting room.

Police are on scene investigating whether a man found with stab wounds outside a Richmond safe injecting room suffered the attack at the facility.
Ambulances and police arrived at the Lennox Street injecting room at about 5.30pm on Saturday afternoon where they found a 22-year-old man that had been stabbed.
Paramedics treated the man with non life-threatening stab wounds to his upper body at the facility.
A police spokeswoman said investigators are working to determine where the 22-year-old was when he was stabbed.
But, as of Saturday night, it is believed he was not attacked at the injecting room.
“Investigations continue in relation to where the incident took place however it appears the incident did not take place at the community facility,” the spokeswoman said.
No arrests had been made over the attack.
