A viral search for a man who proposed in the Eureka Tower has found the loved-up duo.
Humans in Melbourne Facebook page was on the hunt for the couple after a photographer, Franko Haller, captured a man popping the question in the Skydeck’s famous glass cube last Friday.
Franko initially posted the photo last Friday, but the campaign to find them really gathered momentum on Wednesday night.
In the space of a few hours, the post had more than 5000 likes and 1000 shares.
It didn’t take long for commenters to track down the people involved in the candid snap.
The engaged couple was soon revealed to be Canadians Mo Binni, 26 and Amanda Warkentin, 25.
They met while living in Antwerp, Belgium, in 2015 but have lived in Toronto for the past three years.
Mo, a solution architect, decided to propose in Melbourne as the city was the first stop on their trip to Australia and New Zealand.
“The entire flight I was agonising over what to say or how I would do it – she deserved the best proposal ever,” Mo said.
“As we touched down we spent an amazing day in Melbourne and I took her to a delicious Italian restaurant.
“We headed over to the Eureka Tower and got into the cube overseeing the city, we looked out at the city and I looked her in the eyes.
“I said I couldn’t believe that from meeting in Antwerp we were now here; I got down on one knee and I can now confidently say I am the happiest man on earth.
“Our trip has been amazing and we have never been happier!
“For those who were wondering, Amanda says it was an instant yes without a doubt in her mind.”

Mo said Melbourne will “always hold a special place in our hearts” after the experience.
“I consider myself a coffee addict, and I must say, even having lived in Europe, your coffee takes the crown,” he said.
“The city itself we found to have amazing food, a great variety of cuisines, and beautiful graffiti alleyways. The view from the Eureka Tower was breathtaking.”
Mo and Amanda, an accountant, are spending some time in Sydney before touring around New Zealand.
“We wanted to thank everyone who helped find us to show us the beautiful picture Franko took of our engagement,” Mo said.
“We will definitely get the picture blown up to hang on our wall!
