OUTSPOKEN Real Housewives Of Melbourne star Pettifleur Berenger has quit the hit reality series having had her fill of stand-offs and slanging matches.
Berenger confirmed she had contacted the show’s producers this week informing them she was officially walking away from the reality whirlwind.
Speculation has been rife in recent weeks that she was not part of the show’s plans moving forward, however Berenger said it was only on Friday that she made her final decision.
“I think it is important to leave something on a high,” she said.
“I have loved the opportunity Housewives has given me and enjoyed every moment of it. But I don’t think it is for me anymore.
“I am looking forward to the next project and looking forward to spending more time on my property developments and with my family.”
She said while the show had taught her a lot it was also a trial.
“It is quite tough, it is not for the faint hearted. You have to be really strong, really thick skinned and really tough and be able to take the whole vibe of the show,” she said.
“I think I did that really well and now I feel it is time to move.”
Berenger recently filmed Hell’s Kitchen for Channel Seven where teams of celebrities are whipped into shape by star chef Marco Pierre White.
“I hope Hell’s Kitchen is good for me and hopefully my audience will get to see more of Pettifleur. There is a lot more to Pettifleur than just the glamorous side.”
