Tony Mokbel ‘very generous’: Jockey talks about friendship with Underworld boss

He’s already dished the dirt on some of Australia’s most notorious criminals, but ‘Jock’ - a former top Jockey, couldn’t say a bad word about Tony Mokbel.

This jockey isn’t afraid to spill the beans on Melbourne’s underworld.

Last week, ‘Jock’ spoke about his run-ins with some of Australia’s most infamous criminals.

The former star hoop is continuing to unveil some golden stories from his time rubbing shoulders with mob bosses, including Tony Mokbel.

“I seen on that Undebelly series that he was a tight arse - he was anything but a tight arse,” Jock reveals to Andrew Rule in the Life and Crimes podcast.

“Mokbel was very generous with his money. If Tony had money, everyone had money.”

Jock also expands on the first part of his chat, where he revealed some surprising stories about Carl Williams, including him being an ordinary cricketer.

“(Williams) was a f**ing sook. He got bowled and go inside and wouldn’t want to play anymore. Me and (Williams’) brother used to give it to him.”
