NT POLICE have arrested and charged four people over a crime spree across inner Darwin and the northern suburbs earlier this week.
Police report that Detectives from Strike Force Trident and the Serious Crime Unit have detained four males – one 17-year-old, two 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old – in relation to the spree, which involved two cars being stolen and multiple people, including two taxi drivers, being assaulted in a string of incidents spanning Karama, Larrakeyah, Fannie Bay and more.
The 17-year-old boy, who has been remanded to face court on Friday, has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle and aggravated robbery, as well as five counts of breaching bail.

One of the 18-year-olds has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving without a license, driving under the influence and driving with a High Range blood alcohol level, plus one count of breach of bail.
Both he and the 19-year-old, who has been charged with stealing, were due to face the Darwin Local Court on Thursday.
The other 18-year-old, who was arrested today, is expected to be charged with stealing.
NT Police Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said investigations and inquiries into the incidents were ongoing.
“Serious Crime, Strike Force Trident and General Duties police will continue to work together to ensure we apprehend all who were involved in these senseless acts of violence,” he said.
