UPDATE: ONE of the cars involved in a two-car smash on Bagot Road was allegedly stolen, with the occupants understood to be in custody.
Owner of the Toyota Hilux Haydn Coulton was at the scene of the crash and told the NT News he had been tipped off that it had been stolen.
“My stepbrother noticed my car at The Narrows apartments and gave me a bell and said ‘your car’s here.’ I was like, ‘what do you mean? It’s at home,’” Mr Coulton said.
“He read out the registration number to me, Facetimed me and I was like ‘oh shit, that is my car.’
“Luckily enough I was just working across the road and I drove around to The Narrows, saw my car then saw four or five guys jump in the car real quick.”
He said he called the police and then saw his car drive through the intersection of Bagot and Narrows Road without stopping.
“I just saw a big bang,” he said.
Mr Coulton said his car had to cut open with a number of the passengers taken to hospital.
He believes they are in hospital under police guard.
In a statement, NT Police confirmed a silver Toyota Hilux carrying two male passengers collided with a Ford laser carrying one female as it was turning right at the intersection.
“Emergency Services attended the scene and all three were conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital, where they remain in stable conditions,” the statement said.
“Investigations into the circumstances leading up to the crash are ongoing.”

According to an NT Police spokeswoman, one outbound land and all inbound lanes on Bagot Road at the intersection with Narrows Road were blocked.
“Traffic is banked up and we’re asking people to take an alternative route,” she said.
A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said the crash involved two vehicles, with three patients taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Witnesses reported that one of the vehicles had been left on its side by the collision.
