UPDATE: The mother of a Melbourne Justin Bieber fan who was rejected for a photo by the singer has slammed the pop brat, saying he told her daughter “you make me sick”.
Mother Houda Bennaoui said Bieber left her daughter Sabah, 20, heartbroken after angrily refusing her request for a photo.
Mrs Bennaoui said she was “disgusted” with the singer.
“My daughter was bawling her eyes out. She was dying to meet him and then he humiliated her,” she said.
Mrs Bennaoui said she had spent so much money taking her daughter to see Bieber, including to his concert in Melbourne last night which she said was underwhelming.
“His hands were in his pockets for the first five songs and it seemed like he didn’t want to be there,” Mrs Bennaoui said.
“After years of supporting him, my daughter will never see him again in concert.”
Bieber disappointed Sabah Helal after he furiously refused a photo with her in a chance meeting outside Crown Casino in Melbourne’s CBD.
A Bieber super fan, Ms Helal said she was excited to get the once in a lifetime chance to meet her idol but was “really disappointed” when the Canadian pop star angrily declined her request for a photo.
“When I got out of my car, I ran over to ask for a photo, and that is when he said ‘why are you invading my privacy?’” Ms Helal said.
“He wasn’t in a good mood and was adamant that he wouldn’t take a photo with me.”
Ms Helal had read earlier that day that Bieber had been seen moving around the city in a Porsche and a Volvo car.
Ms Helal was driving around the city in search of her idol when she pulled up at a red light and noticed that both a Volvo and a Porsche had stopped behind her.
“When I saw both a Volvo and Porsche I knew it had to be him” she said.
Bieber stepped out of the car and Ms Helal ran over.
“He was not interested in a photo at all, I told him that I was going to take the photo anyway,” Ms Helal said.
Despite being rebuffed by the Biebs, Sabah said she’s still going to try to see him at the airport later before he leaves Melbourne.
