EXCLUSIVE: Former footy larrikin turned radio ratings winner Brendan Fevola will seek legal advice after a magazine alleged he had been secretly messaging a mystery woman on social media.
According to the report in New Idea the alleged conversation took place via Snapchat in December.
Fevola, who after an AFL career that was plagued with controversy, reinvented himself last year as a clever radio performer, joining FiFi Box and Dave Thornton on the top rating Fox FM breakfast show.
The opportunity to hit the airwaves came after he was the surprise winner of Channel 10s reality series I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here.
He also went public in February with his revived romance with his ex-wife Alex. The couple announced their engagement midyear and confirmed their intention to remarry.
In November Fevola said a wedding was very much in the works and could possibly take place over summer.
His tumultuous past, experiences as a father of three, and his stories from his footy playing days has provided plenty of good content for Fox over the past year.
Yesterday a spokesman for Fevola said the Fox presenter would not be commenting on the article but confirmed Fevola would be seeking legal advice in coming days.
``In the meantime we have requested that the New Idea article be removed from their website which they have adhered to,’’ the spokesman said.
