Gossip Queen: Brendan Fevola and ex-wife Alex reveal overseas wedding plans to remarry

BRENDAN Fevola has revealed his future wedding plans as he and ex-wife turned fiance, Alex prepare to remarry overseas.

FOX FM breakfast host Brendan Fevola is preparing to wed his ex-wife, now fiance, Alex as soon as next month.

Brendan, who has transitioned from a troubled veteran footballer to a radio ratings hit, said plans were underway for the couple to tie the knot for the second time.

``I think we will go overseas in early December or January sometime,’’ Brendan said.

``It will just be us. We are thinking about it.

``I think that is what we will do, just with the girls (their daughters) and then have a big party when we get back.’’

Brendan and Alex have had a rollercoaster of a relationship.

There have been highs — their wedding in 2005 and the birth of their daughters Leni and Lulu.

But there have been deep lows — Brendan’s troubled AFL career with Carlton and Brisbane, and their separation and divorce.

The pair has however always supported each other and love blossomed again last year.

They confirmed their relationship was back on track and they were engaged following Brendan’s career resuscitating turn on the most recent season of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Brendan’s radio career has also been rewarding.

He revealed he has extended his contract with the Fox FM breakfast show, which he appears with Fifi Box and Dave Thornton, an opportunity that came following I’m A Celebrity.

``I have signed for a couple more years, I actually did that a while ago,’’ he said.

``I will be with the show for a while, yet which will be good.

``It all fell into the place and the show is going well.

``I have a good head for it (radio).’’

Fevola and his family enjoyed Stakes Day at Flemington yesterday as guests of the Emirates marquee.

``I have taken Lulu to have her nails done this morning, and bought her new shoes, Leni has had her hair done, Mia has had her make up and hair done at Alex’s shop, it has been mayhem,’’ he said.

``It took me three seconds to get ready, as you can see.’’
