WHO IS IN THE ROYAL BRIDAL PARTY?

Keeping in tradition with past royal weddings, Meghan’s bridal party will be completely made up of children.

Six bridesmaids and four page boys will join the royal couple for the service. Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, three, are set to be pageboy and “bridesmaid”, the term used for flower girl.

Meghan’s stylist and long-time friend Jessica Mulroney’s children have been included, with Ivy Mulroney and her twin brothers Brian and John Mulroney to walk down the aisle today.

Another bridesmaid will be Florence van Cutsem, three, daughter of Nicholas and Alice van Cutsem, plus Ms Markle’s two goddaughters Remi Litt, six, and Rylan Litt, seven.

Zalie Warren, two, is the youngest bridesmaid and is Prince Harry’s goddaughter.

Six-year-old Jasper Dyer will round out the page boys today.

But Prince Harry is set to break protocol and have brother William by his side as best man before the wedding.

It comes after Prince Harry himself served as best man when William tied the knot with Kate Middleton in 2011.

WHO ARE THE ROYAL WEDDING GUESTS?

More than 600 guests have been invited to the event, ranging from fellow royals and heads of state to aristocrats and celebrities.

Led by Queen Elizabeth, the entire royal family will be in attendance, including Prince Charles and wife Camilla, Prince William and his wife Catherine, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

It is not yet known of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip, 96, will attend after undergoing a hip replacement last month.

Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland will attend but after controversy, her father Thomas Markle now will now not attend to walk her down the aisle.

Celebrity guests are expected to include David and Victoria Beckham, Meghan’s Suits co-stars and tennis champ Serena Wiliams.

Members of the public have also been invited, with a select group of 1260 people granted access to the grounds of Windsor Castle for a picnic on the big day.

Ranging from inner-city youth workers to community leaders, the couple requested people of a wide range of backgrounds and ages be selected.

THE ROYAL WEDDING CEREMONY

The chapel was built in the 14th century and has a rich royal history.

The medieval house of worship is also the final resting place of infamous six-time groom King Henry VIII, and can sit up to 800 guests.

It’s the final resting place of nine other English kings, including King George VI and his wife Queen Elizabeth, known as the Queen Mother.

Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, is the most senior cleric in the Church of England and will wed Harry and Meghan, while Dean of Windsor, David Connder, will preside over the ceremony.

But the ceremony will also have an Episcopal element, with the couple requesting American bishop Michael Bruce Curry to deliver the address at their wedding.

THE WEDDING RECEPTION

After the ceremony, a luncheon will be hosted by the Queen at St George’s Hall, before the second intimate 200-guest reception at Frogmore House, which dates back to the 17th century.

Kensington Palace revealed this week the inner workings of the royal kitchen at Windsor Castle, with an army of chefs to prepare a variety of dishes for the reception.

Like any couple, Prince Harry and Meghan had a number of tastings in the lead-up to their wedding, with the menu to include fresh English produce and other fruits and vegetables sourced from the Queen’s gardens in Windsor.

Pastry chefs will also be preparing chocolate truffles filled with a special sauce, along with a selection of bite-sized crème brulees, biscuits topped with mango panna cotta and yellow macarons.
