Bypass the traditional mulled wine and try these quirky warm cocktails at Melbourne bars this winter.

Spice up your night with a Poire and Plenty. It’s served cool, but a nip of all spice-flavoured Pimento Dram and Jack Daniels rye added to the pear-infused liquor should warm you from within. Plus it’s torched to create a brown sugar

This Speakeasy Group bar lures crowds with its famed Blazing Glogg. Not only impressive in sight and smell, the hot spiked tea made from Martell VS cognac, a cranberry-infused port and a little flame is delicious to drink. It’s served with a “house spice” tea bag.
