Rain and storms didn’t damper the fun and action as racing crowds dressed to impress at this year’s Ladbrokes Moe Cup.
Held at the Moe Racecourse on Waterloo Rd, the cup — known as the “race that stops the Latrobe Valley” — kicked off from 11.30am on Friday.
With the first race starting at 12.30pm, attendees were in for a treat, where they punted, drank up and partied the day away with their friends — starting their weekend on a high note.
While some racegoers clinked their cans or glasses together trackside, fashionistas took centre stage at the fashions on the field competition for their chance to win some valuable prizes.
All guests were encouraged to dress in their sharpest, snazziest and most colourful racing attire to make the most of Gippsland’s first spring racing cup for the year.
The Herald Sun crew were also in attendance to capture photos of all the racing enthusiasts, who all striked a pose for the camera.
