Tarneit motorcyclist dies in hospital following collision with BMW
A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Tarneit has died following a collision with a BMW as Victoria’s 2019 road toll continues to climb.

A motorcyclist has died in hospital following a crash in Tarneit.
The 26-year-old man from Tarneit was travelling east on Bethany Rd about 8.40pm on February 24 when he collided with a BMW sedan that was turning into Clair Way.
The driver the BMW, a 29-year-old Mt Waverly man stopped and helped at the scene.
The rider was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries but died yesterday.
So far this year, 55 people have died on Victoria’s roads, compared with 35 at the same time in 2018.
