MPCA: Clearances granted as players change clubs ahead of 2019-20 season
It’s still over a month until the cricket season but there’s already been plenty of player movement in the MPCA.

Applications for cricket clearances have been flooding into the Mornington Peninsula Cricket Association as season 2019-20 approaches.
More than 30 clearances have been granted since transfers opened on August 1, and some big names feature.
Former Victorian batsman Nick Jewell will kick start his career at Long Island, having been cleared from Main Ridge, where he last played in 2017-18.
Main Ridge captain Shaun Foster has returned to his home club, Carrum.
MPCA player of the year in 2011-12 Shayne Gillings is back at Pearcedale after a short stint with Long Island.
Langwarrin premiership opening batsman Taylor Smith is officially a Pines player, as is Brad Trotter (Pearcedale), while Sorrento paceman Adeel Hussain has been cleared to Tootgarook.
Mornington batsman Brad McDonald has returned to Somerville, as captain and assistant coach.
