A THIRSTY thief with a ‘pot belly’ is being hunted after stealing a bottle of scotch from a Hastings bottle shop.
The man walked into the Bottlemart drive through on Frankston-Flinders Rd about 7.50pm on June 19 and spoke to a security guard.
He then took the scotch bottle from the shelf and hid it under his jumper, Sergeant Cameron Scott said.

He said the man had another conversation with the security guard before he left the store without paying.
Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe will be able to assist with their investigation.
“He appears to be caucasian with an average build, pot belly, light-coloured curly hair and wearing a black, grey and white striped hoodie,” Sgt Scott said.
