Police have released descriptions of men terrorising young children around the Mt Martha Beach area.
Frankston Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating two similar flasher incidents on the popular Mornington Peninsula beach since the start of summer
In the first on December 7, a man was seen masturbating near the beach boxes at Mt Martha Beach about 3pm.
There were a number of children under the age of 16 in the vicinity at the time.
Police say the man is described as being caucasian in appearance with a skinny build, short stature and both arms covered in tattoos.
He was wearing a black tank top, long brown shorts, sunglasses and a dark coloured cap.
A second incident happened on January 1 between 2pm and 3pm around the same location.
Again beachgoers saw a man masturbating near the beach boxes.
Police say he is described as being between 30 and 40-years-old with tanned skin.
He was wearing a baggy jumper, sandy coloured shorts and a green / khaki cap over his face.

Last week a concerned parent told the Leaderhis two daughters, aged 12 and 15, had been the victims of a man exposing himself at Mount Martha Beach South.
“It happened to my youngest daughter and her friends in December and again to my older daughter and her friends last weekend,” Peter Barnet said.
“We think it was the same man. He was hanging around the back of the beach boxes and exposed himself when they walked past.”
Late last year a 48-year-old Mt Martha man was arrested and charged with six offences, including sexual exposure and sexual activity in the presence of a child under the age of 16.
The arrest followed a series of indecent exposures at Balcombe Estuary Reserve, Mt Martha.
