An early-morning siege lasting two hours in Port Melbourne has ended with the arrest of two men.
It is believed the pair, aged in their 20s, are brothers and began arguing before one of them produced a knife.
“One sustained a minor arm injury and declined medical treatment,” Sergeant Cameron Scott said.
“Both are currently in custody assisting police with inquiries.”
The men allegedly refused to leave a Clifford St unit for two hours before being arrested. During the siege a row broke out among other residents, with one dragging a woman across the street by her hair.
