A Mildura thug with a raging ice addiction repeatedly attacked a woman, punching her in the face during several sickening assaults.
Ryan Fiebig, 32, pleaded guilty in the Mildura Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday as the court heard details of two separate incidents where he brutally assaulted a woman, repeatedly punching her in the face and head while verbally abusing and falsely imprisoning her.
The first brutal attack took place on November 29 and lasted until the early hours of the following morning. It was during this attack Fiebig smashed the victim’s phone, preventing her from calling triple-0.
The second attack happened on January 22, some 12 days after Fiebig had missed a court appearance date for the first incident.
It was revealed in court Fiebig told police on the second occasion the victim had punched herself in the face, causing the injuries.
As well as the brutal assaults, Fiebig also faced several drug driving and other driving related charges.
Magistrate Michael Coghlan told Fiebig, “You are a part of a plague … that affects Mildura and other communities,” before adding he partook in, “clearly controlling behaviour.”
Fiebig was jailed for four months, of which 51 days were reckoned as served.
